Notice Under the Americans with Disabilities Act

In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), EcoMotion Tours, Inc. will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. 

Employment: EcoMotion Tours, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its hiring or employment practices and complies with all regulations promulgated by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under title I of the ADA.

Modifications to Policies and Procedures: EcoMotion Tours, Inc. will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities. Anyone who requires a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of EcoMotion Tours, Inc. should contact our office as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.

Safety: EcoMotion Tours, Inc. welcomes and has had many ADA qualified individuals. However, there are some minimum requirements that must be met to ensure the participants safety. Participants must weigh between 100 lbs and 250 lbs, they must be able to hear (with or without aids) guides’ instructions, they must be able to see well enough to recognize and negotiate obstacles while traveling at 6 mph, they must be able to step up and down stairs without the use of a handrail, they must have mobility in their left hand in order to steer, they must be able to stand for at least one hour.

The ADA does not require EcoMotion Tours, Inc. to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden. 

Complaints that a program, service, or activity of EcoMotion Tours, Inc. is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to the management as soon as possible.

EcoMotion Tours, Inc. will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids/services or reasonable modifications of policy.
