About Us
In partnership with the Florida Park Service, EcoMotion Tours provides guided Segway Tours of Little Talbot Island State Park and Fort George Island Cultural State Park with visits to The National Park Services’ Kingsley Plantation. The company also provides custom tours for corporate and special events. EcoMotion Tours was cited in USA Today for being one of the first tour operators "...to venture into rougher terrain with the newly designed off-road Segway...".
EcoMotion Tours is jointly owned by Maren and Greg Arnett. More than a business, the company reflects their love of natural environments. As residents of Fort George Island, their goal is to show local and distant guests some of the very special aspects of this captivating island and the neighboring Little Talbot Island.
EcoMotion Tours uses Segway transporters as an environmentally-sensitive way to tour the beautiful natural landscapes of Fort George Island. Moving along on Segways happens to be as easy on people as it is on the environment, and a whole lot of fun!
With a master’s degree in Training & Development and a career in executive leadership programs, Maren has expertise facilitating a range of group learning experiences for corporate groups. As a Mechanical Engineer, with international experience in technical training, Greg oversees operations and all the technical aspects of the business. Greg grew up in Florida and is certified in the, Coastal Systems portion of the Florida Master Naturalist Program. He is also certified in the First Responder Training Program by the Florida Department of Health/Bureau of EMS. Their knowledge of the natural habitat coupled with professional experience provides the basis for an informative and enjoyable experience.
